We are the Prescott Valley
Police Foundation

A group of graduates from the Citizens Police Academy and other concerned citizens joined together to form the Prescott Valley Police Foundation which is a 501(c)(3) organization. The Foundation's purpose is to partner with police officers, staff and police volunteers and to raise funds with sponsorship to make purchases of the non-budgeted equipment. The Prescott Valley Police Foundation functions as a stand alone entity from the Prescott Valley Police Department.

Partnering with Those Who Serve

Our mission is to partner with those who serve and protect our community.

The "Perpetual Vest Fund"

bullet proof vestOne evident need of the police department is a vest fund. Each officer must now pay for their own protective vest until receiving a reimbursement. They often wait up to 6 months, potentially causing a financial strain.

We have a revolving fund available for loans until the reimbursement can be made. As each loan is repaid by the officer, the fund is continuously replenished, and perpetually available.

Vests currently cost between $800 and $1200. Vests are required to be replaced every five years.

With all these nefarious elements in our town, we are taking advantage of this opportunity to have a dinner and Silent Auction as our fundraiser for 2010. What could be more perfect?
